All Day / Year Round Ballet Intensive

After hosting numerous ballet students in our summer intensives programs over the last 13 years, we proudly created a Pre-Professional opportunity for serious ballet students who want to attend a year round intensive ballet program while continuing their home school studies. Our Academy is designed to provide ballet training that meets the highest artistic standards and prepares students for a career in dance, should they chose to pursue this career path.

A Good Foundation

Several studies have shown that “arts” education is essential for developing fully formed, well-rounded students. Students who receive exposure to both the applied and performing arts learn valuable skills in the areas of critical thinking, creative problem solving and social interaction. These skills are essential to ensure future success.

Our Commitment

We are committed to ballet and cultural education to foster students’ appreciation of the performing arts and understand its value as a form of communication; bridging the connection between art and academic disciplines. Participating classes learn the fundamentals of ballet and attend a lecture demonstration as well as live performances. Our workshops focus on artistic discovery, exploration, analysis, and creation using elements of music and movement; culminating everything into a performance of student’s choreographic work.

Life Long Passion

The Russian Ballet Orlando Pre-Professional Program allows students to build their passion for performing arts into a lifelong career. Teaching Artists work to encourage students to participate in a variety of roles including dancer, collaborator, and observer.

School Work

Students will check in online with their parents for the student’s assignments of the day. Students complete their Home School Assignments and attaches their educational work to their parents via email. Students will read books, math, science, and take tests from a designated study hall at the studio. School work is either sent via the web or completed in an online format. Throughout the schooldays, our students will participate in ballet intensive programs.

Our Ballet Intensive program is designed for the dedicated ballet student who wants to be exposed to the vision and training of the Professional Ballet Dance Industry.
